　1 Make yourself a list of problem words. If there are certain words you have already identified that you misspell frequently， make yourself a spelling list.
制作一份易錯詞匯列表。如果對于一些單詞，你拼寫出錯較為頻繁，制作一份單詞清單吧。
Use flashcards to practice a little every night and eliminate words when you feel you‘ve conquered them. Soon you’ll find that you have mastered these problem words!
使用抽認(rèn)卡每晚進(jìn)行適當(dāng)?shù)木毩?xí)，慢慢去掉已經(jīng)掌握的詞匯。一段時間后你就會發(fā)現(xiàn)自己已經(jīng)掌握了這些問題詞匯。
2 Keep a “problem word” file in your computer. Each time you run a spell-checker and find a word that you‘ve misspelled, copy and paste the word into your file. Later you can add it to your list (above).
在你的電腦中也留存一份容易出錯詞匯清單。每次運行拼寫檢查軟件時，你可以發(fā)現(xiàn)這些錯誤拼寫的詞，將這些詞復(fù)制粘貼到易錯詞匯清單的文件中。之后也可以將這些詞加到1中的易錯詞匯列表中。
3 Each time you practice a word, spell it out loud. Later，you will recall how the word sounded as you spelled it right。 You‘ll be surprised how well this words!
每次練習(xí)一個詞的時候，將單詞的拼寫大聲讀出來，在你拼寫正確的時候你會回憶這些詞時如何發(fā)音的，你會驚訝這個詞是多么好聽。
4 Review the rules for prefixes and suffixes。 You‘ll avoid many mistakes once you understand the difference between “inter” and “intra，” for example。
回顧單詞前綴和后綴的構(gòu)成規(guī)則，理解詞綴后，你可以避免很多很多錯誤，比如理解“inter”“intra”的區(qū)別后，你就不會再混淆了。
5 Study common root words of words with Greek and Latin origins。 This is a trick used by many spelling bee participants。
學(xué)習(xí)一些常見的來源于希臘語和拉丁語的根詞。這是一個許多參加拼寫比賽選手所使用的技巧。
6 Memorize clumps of words that belong to special groups。 For example， you will find that the group of words that contain “ough” (rhyming with tough) is finite。 Once you make a comprehensive list， you are ready to memorize。 By observing words that do and don‘t belong together， you will reduce uncertainty about many similar words that don’t make the list。
記憶一些屬于特殊群體的詞匯，例如，你會發(fā)現(xiàn)包含“ough”的單詞(與tough押韻)是有限的。一旦你做一個全面的列表，便可以方便記憶。通過觀察單詞的相似性和找到屬于一類和不屬于一類的單詞，你可以找到更多可以分為一類的單詞并添加到列表中。

7 Read a lot! Many words become familiar to us because we see them often。 The more you read， the more words you will memorize - even though you won‘t realize it。
大量閱讀!我們對一些單詞越來越熟悉是因為我們常見到這些單詞。盡管你意識不到這一點，但你讀到的越多，你記住的單詞也會越多。
8 Read with a pencil。 You can mark your books with light pencil marks to indicate words you‘d like to practice。 Just remember to go back and erase! If you happen to use an eReader， be sure to highlight and bookmark words you’d like to practice。

9 Practice with a few online spelling quizzes。 This is a good way to find frequently-misspelled or commonly-confused words。
適當(dāng)做一些在線拼寫練習(xí)。這種方式可以幫助你發(fā)現(xiàn)一些常常拼寫錯誤的詞和常見的易混淆詞匯。
10 Visualize yourself carrying out an activity to match a problem word。 For example， if you have trouble remembering how to spell edible， conjure up and image of the word in your head， then picture yourself nibbling on the word。 (Silly activities are often the most effective。)
設(shè)想自己正在做一個易錯詞匯匹配的游戲。比如，如果你對edible的拼寫存在疑問，在腦海中想象這個詞匯的拼寫，然后想象自己一點點將單詞啃掉的畫面。(最簡單的活動往往是最有效的。)
