　　考研英語中大作文的要求是內容切題、表達清楚、文字連貫、句式多變和語言規范。小作文考察點在信息點的覆蓋、語言的準確性、文章組織的連貫性上。



　　其中小作文占10分，分為求職信、祝賀信、道歉信、詢問信、推薦信、感謝信、邀請信、辭職信等等二十多種應用文。每個類別都有相對固定的語言模式，都有固定詞語要求。



　　證明信包括下列幾項：(1)你是以什么資格了解被證明人或被證明公司的。(2)你認識被證明人或被證明公司有多久了。(3)被證明人或被證明公司的可靠性和能力如何。

　　Directions: You are the Dean of the Biomedical Engineering Department of Big State University and your student Jane Doe, who is a Ph. D. of Biomedical Engineering now, has applied for the minority travel award by ICORR Committee and needs your certification of her education background and academic ambition.

　　Write the letter with on less than 100 words. Do not sign your own name at the end of the letter. Use “Wang Hua” instead. Do not write the address.

　　I am writing this letter to certify that Jane Doe is a graduate student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Big State University.
