《藥學(xué)英語》第2版于2000年面世以來，全國藥學(xué)類院校積極采用，本書第3版的編寫是為了適應(yīng)藥學(xué)教育的新形勢和各高校開設(shè)基礎(chǔ)藥學(xué)英語的學(xué)時數(shù)，以及某些高校除基礎(chǔ)藥學(xué)英語外還按課程開設(shè)專業(yè)藥學(xué)英語等需要。本書第3版編寫中，仍分為上下兩冊，上冊為基礎(chǔ)藥學(xué)英語，共選課文30課和閱讀材料15課，其體例仍為：課文；詞匯注釋；課文注釋；習(xí)題。下冊為專業(yè)藥學(xué)英語，共分成藥物化學(xué)、藥劑學(xué)、藥理學(xué)、藥物分析、生藥學(xué)、生物化學(xué)、植物化學(xué)和藥事管理八個學(xué)科。
