據考研英語大綱要求，小作文主要考查考生進行一般性應用文寫作的能力。應用文的類型包括私人和公務信函、備忘錄、報告、通知等。其中書信類應用文是歷年考研英語考試的考查重點。而從共性上來看，大部分書信類應用文體現的交際目的是交流自己因某事物產生的某種情緒，重在闡述情緒衍生的相應行為。今天，英語老師就交流基礎情緒過程中的常見表達給大家進行總結。

交流欣喜或感動

It is a delight to do sth。
例：很高興你們成為我們的校友。
It is a delight to have you as our schoolmates。

Undoubtedly， 。。。。gives me much delight/ happiness/ gladness/ joy。
例：毫無疑問，你們的到來讓我很高興。
Undoubtedly， your coming gives me much gladness。

I wish to heartily congratulate you on sth。
例：我想對你考試取得的優異成績表示真心祝賀。
I wish to heartily congratulate you on your excellent exam results。

I appreciate the time and efforts you extended on。。。
例：我很感激你投入時間和精力減輕我的心理痛苦。
I appreciate the time and efforts you extended on alleviating my mental sufferings。

交流喜歡、感興趣

I have a great passion for 。。。
例：我對開創自己的企業充滿興趣。
I have a great passion for creating my own business。
2 ) 。。。。。holds strong attraction for me。
例：在你的學校進一步學習對我有強大的吸引力。
Pursuing further study in your university holds strong attraction for me。
3 ) I can’t wait to / don’t hesitate to recommend to you 。。。。。
例：我忍不住向你推薦這部電影。
I can’t wait to recommend to you this film。
4 ) I would like to know whether I can obtain the opportunity to 。。。
例：我想知道我是否能擁有在貴校學習的機會。

交流不喜歡、厭惡

1 ) I would like to express my disappointment / dissatisfaction at。。。
