羅國杰，1928年1月生，河南內鄉人。1949年畢業于同濟大學法律系，1959年畢業于中國人民大學哲學系。歷任中國人民大學哲學系講師、副教授、教授，倫理學教研室主任、哲學系主任、中國人民大學副校長等職；曾任國務院學位委員會第二、三屆哲學學科評議組成員，第四屆哲學學科評議組召集人，中國倫理學會第一屆副會長、第二、三、四屆會長；現為中國人民大學教授、博士生導師。主要著作有《羅國杰文集》、《學習理論文庫·羅國杰自選集》、《以德治國與公民道德建設》、《道德教育與價值導向》、《中國人民大學名家文叢·羅國杰自選集》；在《人民日報》、《光明日報》、《哲學研究》等報刊發表論文300多篇。其中，《馬克思主義倫理學》獲全國高校優秀教材獎，《羅國杰文集》獲第三屆中國高校人文社會科學研究優秀成果哲學類一等獎，《道德建設論》與《中外歷史問題八人談》均獲1999年國家“五個一工程”獎。

English Resume

Prof. Guojie Luo was born at Neixiang of Henan Province in January 1928. He pursued his Bachelor of Law at the Department of Law of Tongji University in Shanghai from 1946 to 1949.

He joined the Department of Philosophy of Renmin University of China for further study in 1956 and graduated in 1959.Prof. Luo’s major research fields are the Theory of Ethics, the History of Chinese Ethical Thoughts and Moral Education. Prof. Luo has beeb engaged in teaching and science research in ethics for more than fifty years.He wrote many books such as “Moral Education and Value Guide”, “Managing State by Morality and Moral Construction to Citizen”, “Guojie Luo Collected Works”, “Guojie Luo Self-Selected Works” and so on, about 2000,000 words. There are more than twenty books, such as “Marxist Ethics”, “Ethics”, “Traditional Morality of China”, “Revolutionary Morality of China”, “Morality Training”,  “Theory and Practice of Life”, “Establishing right World Outlook, Life Outlook and Value Outlook” and so on, which were edited by himself. The works of his and his fellows edited are “Ethics Lectures”, “the History of Western Ethical Thoughts”, “New Views on Managing by Morality”, etc. And he has been the member of the Second Grope of Appraise Philosophy through Discussion of Academic Degree Committee of State Council, the convener of the Third and the Fourth of the same group. In addition, he has been the associate president of Family Education Academic Association of China. Currently, he is the associate president member of Social Science Committee of Minister of Education, the President of Teaching Marxism Theory and Morality Training in University Guide Committee and the Honorary President of Ethics Committee of China.
