1、基本資料、教育背景、工作經歷、社會職務、獎勵、榮譽稱號

楊慧林教授（1954- ），男，出生于北京，文學碩士、哲學博士，博士生導師。

現任中國人民大學副校長，兼任中國比較文學學會會長、中國宗教學會副會長、教育部中文學科教學指導委員會副主任、國家社科基金專家評審組成員等。

主講課程“西方文藝理論史”曾獲北京市優秀教學成果一等獎（2004）、國家級優秀教學成果二等獎（2005）、國家級精品課程（2009）、國家級教學團隊（2009），2006年還曾獲得北京市高等學校教學名師稱號。
