李志平，1971年生，遼寧大連人。1993年畢業于南京理工大學化工學院（學士）；1996年畢業于南京理工大學化工學院（碩士）；1999年畢業于大連理工大學化工學院（博士）。1999.1-2000.12在北京大學化學學院從事博士后研究工作；2001.1-2002.8在日本北海道大學觸媒化學研究中心從事博士后研究工作；2002.8-2003.12在北京大學化學學院工作（講師）；2004.1-2006.2在加拿大麥吉爾大學化學系從事博士后研究工作；2006年3月-至今在中國人民大學化學系工作（副教授）；2009年受聘中國人民大學教授、博士生導師。研究領域為金屬有機化學和有機合成化學，并且在該領域已發表了一批有創新性和影響力的科研成果。2007年入選國家教育部“跨世紀優秀人才培養計劃”；2009年獲北京市教育工會“首都教育先鋒科技創新個人”稱號。

Zhiping Li: Born in 1971. B. S., Nanjing University of Science and Technology (1993); M. S., Nanjing University of Science and Technology (1993); Ph. D., Dalian University of Technology (1999); postdoctoral fellow, Peking University (1999.1 – 2000.12); Postdoctoral fellow, Hokkaido University, Japan (2001.1 – 2002.8); Assistant Professor, Peking University (2002.8 – 2003.12); Postdoctoral fellow, McGill University, Canada (2004.1 – 2006.2); Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, Renmin University of China (2006.3 –); Professor, Department of Chemistry, Renmin University of China (2009.8 –). Prof. Dr. Zhiping Li’s group is current focusing on seeking novel synthetic methodologies based on the selective oxidation of C-H bonds and C-C bond cleavage. Research interests cover (1) the discovery and development of iron-catalyzed novel and practical methodologies; (2) the discovery and development of iodine-mediated or –catalyzed new reactions. Award: New Century Excellent Talents in University, Ministry of Education (2007).
