2016考研英語：閱讀例證題及詞義句意題

考研英語一直是同學們比較難攻克的一門課。老師接下來將把解題方法與真題結合起來進一步總結，希望對考生的英語閱讀復習有所幫助。

一、例證題分類

此前在分析例證題的題型特點和解題辦法時將例證題分為例子在文首和例子在文中兩種情況。例子在文中又可進一步分為四種情況：

1. 例子在文中，觀點在同一段的前面

2. 例子在段首，觀點為段落結尾句

【2003 text 2】

48. The example of the grandmotherly woman is used to show thepublic's ________。

[A]discontent with animal research

[B]ignorance about medical science

[D]anxiety about animal rights

【分析】這道例證題的特點是，例子在段首，到這一段的最后一句話之前，通過對末句的觀察，我們看到末句是一個論述總結性的句子，觀點即為最后一句話，正確答案為B。

對比：【2004 text 2】

46. What does the author intend to illustrate with AAAA cars andZodiac cars?

[A] A kind of overlooked inequality

[B] A type of conspicuous bias

[C] A type of personal prejudice

[D] A kind of brand discrimination

【分析】這道題和上一個例子從形式上看如出一轍，但是仔細觀察發現例子后的句子同樣是在講例子、擺事實，不是總結論述的話，所以這道題的觀點只能往前面找，就找到了一段中的中心句或最后一句，都可以得出答案，正確答案為A。

3. 例子獨立一段，觀點在前面

二階真題閱讀中沒有，這種情況比如在2002 text 1這篇文章中二段整段都為例子，其論證的觀點就在一段。

4. 例子在but轉折句的后半句，觀點在前半句

【2006 text 4】

36.By citing the examples of poets Wordsworth and Baudelaire, theauthor intends to show that ________。

[A] poetry is not as expressive of joy as painting or music

[B] art grows out of both positive and negative feelings

【分析】這道例證題的特點是在一個but轉折句中，且是由“，”隔開的兩個分句，這道題的例子在后面的分句中，是用來論證前面主句的內容的，正確答案為D。

對比【2002 text 2】

50.The author uses the example of a monkey to argue that robots are________。

[A] expected to copy human brain in internal structure

[B] able to perceive abnormalities immediately

[C] far less able than human brain in focusing on relevantinformation

[D] best used in a controlled environment

【分析】這道例證題的特點和前面一道例證題的特點是如出一轍的，共同點是都是在一個but轉折句中，且是由“，”隔開的兩個分句，這道題的例子在后面的分句中，是用來論證前面主句的內容的，正確答案為C。兩道例證題的另外一個共同點是除了定位句之外，都涉及到了另外一個點：2006 text4 36題是兩種態度，2002 text 2是機器人，所以除了定位在but句之外，還需要結合段落中心和文章中心，以及相關定位點所涉及的位置，這是因為but表示轉折，必然定位的時候會涉及到but前面的內容，才能保證信息點完整。

二、詞義句意題分類

從方法的角度講，我們對類型題分類越細，方法越適用，目標越明確，詞義句意題主要考察的是根據上下文推測生詞的詞義的能力，按照上下文的邏輯語義關系，我們可以把詞義句意題細分為四種類別：

1. 并列關系

A。并列連詞：and, too, as well：2006 text 4 37.

B。標點符號：“；”：2004 text1 43.

C。對照結構：2005 text 4 37、2005 text 1 22.

D。相似構詞法：2007 text 1 22.

2. 轉折關系：2004 text 3 51.、2005 text 2 28.

3. 解釋限定：“——”、雙破折號、括號、定語從句、同位語從句、例子：2002 text 4 59. 、2002 text 2 47.

4. 根據段首尾句的照應關系或文章中心：2005 text 4 37.、2006 text 4 37。.
