常規單詞積累一定要集中在2016考研英語復習的前期，否則到了復習后期無論是2016考研英語閱讀的復習還是翻譯的復習，都會遇到困難。同時，單詞記憶不能只記中文釋義，要掌握其常見用法、固定搭配，并且在能力范圍內利用詞根觸類旁通。2016考研英語對于詞匯的考查主要體現在考生“同義替換”的能力上，也就是考查考生對于語言多樣性的把握，所以考生在背單詞的時候一定要掌握單詞的同義詞。

ingredient

n.(混合物的)組成部分，配料;成分，要素

【例】There is a list of ingredients on the side of the packet.包裝袋的邊上印有所含配料表。

【同義替換】component, element, factor

【真題】Many consumers seem to have been influenced by stock-market swings, which investors now view as a necessary ingredient to a sustained boom.

許多消費者似乎一直受股票市場波動的影響，投資者現在把這種波動視為持續繁榮的必要因素。

articulate

a.善于表達的;用關節相連的 v.清楚地講話

【例】She is unusually articulate for a ten-year-old.對一個十歲的孩子來說，她異乎尋常地能說會道。

【構詞】arti(技巧)+cul(培養)+-ate(……的)→培養別人的要求→善于表達的

【同義替換】expressive

【派生】articulation n.清楚講話

【真題】It is also the reason why when we try to describe music with words, all we can do is articulate our reactions to it, and not grasp music itself.

這也就是為什么當我們嘗試用語言來描述音樂時，我們只能清楚地表達對音樂的反映，卻不能領會音樂的精髓。

substitute

n.代替者;替身;代用品 v.(for)代替，替換

【例】We mustn’t rely on sheer enthusiasm and substitute our personal feelings for policy.我摩恩不能僅靠熱情，也不能用私人感情代替政策。

【構詞】sub-(下面)+stitut(站立)+e→(站在下面等著)替代
