【構(gòu)詞】origin(起源)+-ate(動(dòng)詞后綴)→起源，首創(chuàng)

【同義替換】initiate, begin, create

【派生】originator n.創(chuàng)始人，創(chuàng)作者，發(fā)明者

【真題】What the researchers found was at once both amazing and expected: the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s Cosmic Background Explorer satellite——Cobe——had discovered landmark evidence that the universe did in fact begin with the primeval explosion that has become known as the Big Bang( the theory that the universe originated in an explosion from a single mass of energy).

【構(gòu)詞】super-(超，上)+vis(看)+e→在上面看著→監(jiān)督，管理

【同義替換】monitor, control, superintend

Vos Savant測(cè)得的智力高分再也不可能出現(xiàn)了，因?yàn)樵u(píng)分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)是根據(jù)同齡中人口分布統(tǒng)計(jì)數(shù)據(jù)而制定，而不是簡(jiǎn)單根據(jù)時(shí)間年齡除以智力年齡，再乘以100。
