葉小文，1950年生，1983年任貴州省社科院哲學所助理研究員，1984年任貴州省社科院社會學所副所長，貴州省社會學會副會長兼秘書長。1985年任共青團貴州省委書記，1990年任團中央統戰部副部長，全國青聯副秘書長。1991年任中央統戰部民族宗教局局長，1995年任國務院宗教事務局局長（國家宗教事務局局長）。2007年5月10日在中國人權研究會第三屆全國理事會上當選為中國人權研究會副會長。2009年9月任中央社會主義學院黨組書記、第一副院長（正部長級）。

English Resume

Ye Xiaowen was born in 1950.

He worked as assistant researcher in Philosophy Institute of Guizhou Academy of Social Sciences Academy in 1983, and then as the Deputy Dean of the institute in 1984; meanwhile, he was elected as Vice Chairman and Secretary General of Guizhou Sociology Society. In 1985, he became Secretary of the Communist Youth League Guizhou Provincial Committee. In 1990, he served as Deputy Director of the United Front Department under the CYL Central Committee, and deputy Secretary General of All China Youth Federation. In 1991, he became Director of Bureau of Ethnical and Religions Affairs under the United Front Department of the CPC Central Committee. From 1995 to 2009, he worked as Director of the Religious Affairs Bureau under the State Council (the later State Administration for Religious Affairs). Since 2009, he has been working as Deputy Director  of the Central Institute of Socialism.
