2015年9月18日上午，2016年考研英語（一）大綱公布。對比前幾年的大綱， 我們可以看出，大綱對閱讀模塊的考查還是和往年一樣，基本沒有太大變化。其中，語言技能要求的第五條是根據上下文推測生詞的含義,下面小編就根據歷年真題為大家講講“詞匯題”怎么做。

1.根據詞根詞綴猜詞義

例如：（真題2006年Text1）

In spite of “endless talk of difference”, American society is an amazing machine for homogenizing people.There is “the democratizing uniformity of dress and discourse，and the casualness and absence of deference” characteristic of popular culture.People are absorbed into “a culture of consumption” launched by the 19th-century department stores that offered “vast s of goods in an elegant atmosphere.Instead of intimate shops catering to a knowledgeable elite”these were stores “anyone could enter，regardless of class or background.This turned shopping into a public and democratic act.” The mass media， advertising and sports are other forces for homogenization.

21.The word “homogenizing” (Para. 1) most probably means       .

我們不看文章，先看選項。Homogenizing這個詞語大家可能不認識，沒有關系，通過詞根詞綴分析，我們知道homo-表示“相同的”，gen-表示“基因”；而選項A中，identi-表示“識別”（我們的身份證ID card,就是識別我們身份的）；選項B中，social-表示“社會的、聯系的”；選項C中，simila-表示“社會的、聯系的”；選項D中，mono-表示“單獨的”。只有home-（相同的)和題干中考查詞匯homo-(相同的)有相似的意思，那么答案就選C。

2.根據詞語原來含義聯想猜詞義

例如：(真題2010年Text2)Curbs on business-method claims would be a dramatic about-face, because it was the federal circuit itself that introduced such patents with is 1998 decision in the so-called state Street Bank case, approving a patent on a way of pooling mutual-fund assets. That ruling produced an explosion in business-method patent filings, initially by emerging internet companies trying to stake out exclusive rights to specific types of online transactions. Later, move established companies raced to add such patents to their files, if only as a defensive move against rivals that might beat them to the punch. In 2005, IBM noted in a court filing that it had been issued more than 300 business-method patents despite the fact that it questioned the legal basis for granting them. “about-face”在我們軍訓中和一些涉及軍事內容的國外電影中（比如《越獄》，《阿甘正傳》），我們經常可以聽到，教練或軍官發出這樣的命令，這是“向后轉”的意思。而在選項當中，只有選項C表達的“轉向、轉變、變化”的含義，我們優先考慮它，然后再看原文中“about-face”前面有個“dramatic ”（急劇的），而“向后轉”都180°了，不是“急劇的”嘛，因而答案更能確定了，選C。

3.根據標點符號猜詞義

例如：（真題2004Text1)Instead, the best strategy is to use the agent as a kind of tip service to keep abreast of jobs in a particular database ; when you get E-mail, consider it a reminder to check the database again.

43. The expression “tip service” (Line 4, Paragraph 3) most probably means ________.

句子中的“；”表示它前后的兩個句子是并列關系，所表達的內容也應該是一致的。那么，分號前面的 tip service 就和后面的 a reminder形成并列，由此第43題可以快速找出答案，選D。

詞匯題的解題關鍵是該單詞并不重要，重要的要學會解剖這個單詞，聯想它的引申意思，用上下文中的關系找出該詞語的同義詞、近義詞、反義詞、原詞、概括詞或其解釋說明等。
